THE ALIGNMENT METHOD FOR SCHOOLS

The SOHA Alignment Method — Built for School Environments

The Alignment Method is SOHA's signature 12-week student wellbeing program — a structured, progressive curriculum that builds emotional regulation, stress management and resilience skills that grow with the student over time.

Unlike one-off mindfulness workshops that fade within weeks, the Alignment Method creates lasting change by giving students a consistent set of tools and practices they return to and build on throughout the program — and carry with them long after it ends.

Each 45–60 minute session combines breathwork, mindfulness exercises, reflective discussion, movement and practical challenges. Teachers receive clear strategies to integrate these techniques into daily classroom routines — so the benefits continue between sessions.

I recently booked a Sound Bath by Sam session for my staff for a professional learning day, and it was truly amazing. The feedback from my staff was overwhelmingly positive, with many mentioning how the sound meditation sequence provided them with a sense of calm and supported their well-being. I highly recommend attending a session or booking a sound bath with Sam as a group. His well-being advice was excellent, and his positive and pleasant demeanour made the experience even more enjoyable. Sam was a great source of information for my staff, and I will definitely be booking him again in the future. Overall, a fantastic experience! "

GOT QUESTIONS?

Everything You Need to Know About SOHA School Programs

Answers to the questions Melbourne principals, wellbeing coordinators and teachers ask us most.

What makes SOHA's mindfulness programs for schools different?

SOHA's programs combine evidence-based practices with engaging, age-appropriate formats for both primary and secondary schools. Students learn practical stress and anxiety management tools through sessions that fit real classrooms — not just one-off workshops that fade after the day is done.

Are your programs aligned with Australian education frameworks?

Yes. SOHA programs align with the Australian Student Wellbeing Framework and Beyond Blue's Be You program — supporting evidence-based practices that strengthen resilience, emotional awareness and positive school cultures across the whole school.

Do you work with both primary and secondary schools?

Yes. All SOHA programs are tailored for the age group. Primary students explore calm through breath, movement and gratitude, while secondary students develop stress management, focus and emotional awareness tools that support study load, exams and social pressures.

How do your programs fit into the school day?

Sessions run 45–60 minutes and are designed to blend seamlessly into existing timetables. Whether delivered as a single incursion or a multi-week program, each session is structured to support attention, focus and calm without disrupting core learning time.

Can you tailor programs for specific cohorts or needs?

Absolutely. Programs can be tailored for transition years, exam cohorts, leadership groups and classrooms requiring additional support with emotional regulation, focus or behaviour management. We work closely with your wellbeing coordinator to design the right fit.

Do you offer teacher professional development?

Yes. SOHA delivers teacher PD focused on mindfulness in education and staff wellbeing — giving educators practical tools for their own stress management and simple techniques to bring into daily classroom routines immediately.

Do you offer incursions, online or whole school programs?

All three. We deliver on-site incursions across Melbourne, hybrid or online sessions for regional schools, and whole school pathways that blend student sessions, teacher PD and staff wellbeing into one integrated plan.

How do we get started?

Simply book a free school consultation. We will discuss your school's specific goals, student cohorts and schedule — then design a program that fits perfectly. No obligation and no sales pressure.
