Terms & Conditions
Last updated: June 2026
Please read the following carefully before completing your booking. By reserving your place, you confirm that you have read and agree to these terms.
1. Booking and Payment
A 30% non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your place. This allows us to hold your room and begin preparing your personalised retreat experience.
Your remaining balance is due 21 days before the retreat begins so we can finalise all arrangements for your stay.
Payments can be made by bank transfer or cash, whichever is easiest for you.
2. Payment Plans
We understand that investing in your wellbeing is a significant commitment. We are happy to offer a flexible instalment payment plan to make the retreat more accessible.
To arrange a payment plan, please contact us at the time of booking. We will work with you to set up a schedule of instalments that suits your circumstances, with all payments to be completed no later than 21 days before the retreat begins.
The initial 30% deposit remains non-refundable regardless of the payment plan arrangement. All subsequent instalments are subject to the same cancellation and refund policy outlined in Section 3.
Failure to meet agreed instalment dates may result in your place being released. We will always reach out to you first before taking any action.
3. Cancellations and Transfers
If you can no longer attend due to illness, emergency or genuine unforeseen circumstances, we truly understand that life can shift without warning. Our retreats are booked well in advance and many of our venues require significant upfront payments, which means refunds are not possible at short notice. To look after you as best we can, we will provide a credit voucher for the full amount paid so you can join us at a future retreat when the time feels right.
Bookings are non-refundable for change of mind, early departure or any unused portion of the retreat.
You may transfer your place to someone you know. Please notify us at least 14 days before the retreat so we can update our records.
4. Retreat Cancellation by SOHA Space
In the rare event that SOHA Space needs to cancel a retreat due to circumstances beyond our control — including but not limited to extreme weather, venue unavailability, or force majeure events — we will notify you as soon as possible.
In this circumstance, you will receive a full credit to a rescheduled or future retreat date of equal value. We will work with you to find a suitable alternative.
SOHA Space is not liable for any additional costs incurred as a result of a cancellation, including travel, accommodation booked independently, or other personal expenses.
5. Changes to the Retreat Program
Our retreats are designed with care and while we aim to follow the schedule as planned, small adjustments may occasionally be required. Any changes will maintain the same intention and quality.
A detailed itinerary will be provided upon request after your booking is confirmed. Please reach out to us and we will send this through to you.
6. Age Requirements
The SOHA Alignment Retreat is open to guests aged 13 and over. Guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the retreat.
By completing a booking for a guest under 18, the accompanying adult confirms they accept full responsibility for that person's participation, wellbeing and conduct throughout the retreat.
7. Health and Wellbeing
By booking the retreat, you confirm that you are physically, mentally and emotionally able to participate in meditation, breathwork, gentle movement and other wellness activities.
Please inform us of any injuries, conditions, allergies or health concerns before the retreat begins so we can support you safely.
Participation in all activities is voluntary and at your own discretion and risk. If you are under medical care, it is your responsibility to obtain clearance from your healthcare provider before attending.
8. Personal Responsibility and Behaviour
We maintain a peaceful and respectful retreat environment. We ask that all guests treat the space, facilitators and fellow participants with kindness and consideration.
You are responsible for your personal belongings for the duration of the retreat.
Any behaviour that disrupts the safety, peace or wellbeing of the group may result in immediate removal without refund.
9. Accommodation
If you select a shared room option, please ensure you are comfortable sharing a king or queen bed with the person you are attending with. Most shared rooms include one large bed and sharing is the standard arrangement.
If you prefer separate beds, please inform us at the time of booking. Some venues may offer single beds but this is not guaranteed and depends on availability.
Please discuss sleeping arrangements with your companion prior to booking to ensure a comfortable stay for both of you.
10. Meals, Dietary Requirements and Alcohol
All meals and snacks are provided. Our chefs prepare nourishing food to support your wellbeing — please advise us of any dietary requirements or allergies at the time of booking.
We do not supply alcohol as this is a health and wellness retreat. You are welcome to bring your own bottle of wine and we will supply all other beverages for your stay.
We ask that any alcohol brought to the retreat is enjoyed mindfully and respectfully so the environment remains calm, safe and supportive for everyone.
11. Photography and Media
We may capture photos or short videos to share the beauty of the retreat experience. If you do not wish to appear in any content, please inform us before the retreat begins and we will honour your preference completely.
12. Travel and Insurance
Travel to and from the retreat venue is your responsibility unless your package states otherwise.
Travel insurance is not required for retreats within Australia, but we recommend considering it for any retreats held overseas.
13. Liability Waiver
By attending the retreat, you acknowledge that you assume full responsibility for your own health, safety and wellbeing.
Soha Space, its facilitators and its partners are not liable for any injury, illness, loss, accident or damage to personal property that may occur before, during or after the retreat, except where required by law.
14. Wellness and Medical Disclaimer
Soha Space is a wellness and mindfulness experience. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any medical or psychological condition.
All information and practices provided during the retreat — including meditation, breathwork, movement and wellness discussions — are for general wellbeing and educational purposes only. They do not constitute medical advice.
Facilitators and representatives of Soha Space are not acting as medical doctors, psychologists, therapists, physiotherapists or any other licensed health professionals unless expressly stated.
The retreat is not a replacement for professional medical or mental health care. If you have a medical or psychological condition, are pregnant, have respiratory or cardiovascular concerns or are under the care of a healthcare provider, you must obtain professional advice or clearance before participating.
By attending the retreat, you agree that you participate voluntarily and assume full responsibility for any risks, outcomes or responses that may occur.
15. Agreement
By completing your booking, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to these Terms and Conditions. Our intention is always to support you with transparency, care and respect throughout your retreat journey.
